Artist Inspiration

We had an artist visit from Christine Evans who uses all sorts of materials and repeatedly uses the same technique on them. These are a selection of photographs I took of the pieces I produced with her.

Pop Art Prints

These are some of the prints I produced whilst looking at the Pop Art movement. I was particularly inspired by Jasper Johns and created different pieces using a varieties of letters and print techniques.

Life Drawing

Throughout this term we have use different media in life drawing such as collage, charcoal and paint which I have displayed below.

The Eden Project

As a part of the first project I completed a wall painting for Wythenshawe park based on my photographs from the lake district. Whilst we were in the Lake District we also invited members of the public to join us in drawing Lake Windermere, one of my sections is shown below.

Constructivism

These are a selection of monoprints, screenprint and printing with paint all using geometric shapes in a constructivist style.
